STUDENT VISA REQUIREMENT
While you applying student visa to Australia, you will need to meet the following requirements. The requirements are:
Good Health - Not to risk for Australian communities
Good Character – Not to be involved in any illegal or criminal activities
Health insurance – Adequate private health insurance required
Debts to the Commonwealth – To be debt free to the Commonwealth Australia
Qualification – Should minimum entry level qualification (Australian standard)
English Proficiency – Minimum IELTS band or exemption if applies
Sufficient fund – Fund should be sufficient to cover all expenses
Acceptance letter from the educational CRICOS provider
Accommodation & welfare and custody arrangements for under 18 year
Student visas are issued on the understanding that you study full-time on-campus in Australia and have sufficient funds to cover your tuition fees and living expenses whilst you are in Australia.
Currently, if you are in Australia and applying for student visa further extension, you need to meet basic criteria and maintain visa conditions. These conditions are shown on the visa label in your passport as a four digit numerical code with a brief description. It is important that you understand the conditions attached to your visa, as your visa may be cancelled if you fail to comply with any of these conditions and you will be required to leave Australia.
While you applying for student visa for further extension or change educational provider, you need to provide the evidences of:
Course requirement (previous course performance)
Evidence of attendance (must be minimum 80% attendance)
Overseas Student Health Cover
Evidence of English proficiency
Evidence of entry level of qualification
Sufficient fund to cover tuition fees and living costs
Confirmation of Enrolment
Prescribed visa application forms and fees
